Animals have always been a passion of mine and make up a big part of my media career, they are my favourite things to film and photograph. I have a big interest in conservation issues and hope to try and spread awareness of this in the future. I worked in Tenerife with the animal charity, AWF, in Tenerife for six weeks in 2011 then for three months in 2013 creating media content and working on the whale and dolphin watching boats collecting data. Whilst in Tenerife I managed to get my Advanced Diving Padi Award so now have the opportunity to see animals in a totally different environment. I set up the first London Eco Film Festival and organised the Conservation section of the charity. This included finding films across the world to show at the festival and contacting relevent key speakers. I got in contact with renounded wildlife filmmaker Doug Allan who came along to do a talk about his work. On the day of the event I was a coordinator and enjoyed meeting and hearing Doug's stories and making sure the conservation screen ran smoothly. At University, my final project was a documentary about a retired greyhound center called Daybreaks kennels, which can be seen below. I am also currently working on a project based around Furzton Lake.
Pet Photography
I have recently started doing pet photography. I am confident with animals so am willing to work with a range of pets such as horses, dogs, snakes etc. I like to capture the personality of the animal in natural sourroundings and the interaction between the owner and the pet.
